Kim Fisher, son of late treasure salvor Mel Fisher, came to Key West in 1972 with his family in search of shipwrecked treasure. It was fourteen years ago today that the Mother Lode of the Atocha was found. Originally from Torrance, CA , Fisher has grown fond of the emeralds and bikinis in the Keys. But not necessarily in that order.
